SETTING UP OF THE MACHINES from 15
t/hour

Switching on the machine

1.Set the ‘FEED GATE CONTROL’ handle to ‘0’ position.

2. Fill the hopper with grain to the specified level, not less than minimal level.

3. Reset the ‘EMERGENCY STOP’ button by its turning.

4. Move the ‘POWER’ knob to ‘ON’, indicator ‘POWER’ lights up, if it is
under voltage.

5. Set the ‘SPEED OF ROTATION’ knob to middle position.

6. Turn on the frequency converter power, by setting the ‘DIRECTION OF ROTATION’ switcher in the separation or reverse mode, with the indicator lights, the impeller motor starts smoothly gain speed reaching predetermined speed.

7. Turn off the machine in reverse order.

8. Emergency stopping of the machine is performed by pressing the Stop emergency palm button.

9. To clean the machine, it is necessary to switch it to reverse  mode.

Setting the machine to operating modes
Primary cleaning mode

1. Switch on the machine.

2. Fill the hopper with the material.

 3. Ensure continuous supply of the material to the hopper. During operation the user must control the amount of the material in the hopper – it must be filled at least for ¾ of its volume.

4. Turn the ‘Feed Gate Control’ handle to open position.

5. Adjust the ‘SPEED OF ROTATION’ knob to the maximum possible value, so the grain (or other cleaned material) is not coming out with the light impurities through offset.

6. If the machine is equipped with Cyclone Sedimentary Chamber (CSC), make sure that all connections are sealed with the main separator. Make sure the duct gate is closed.

7. Restriction or partial overlapping of the CSC output tray is not allowed, as this may lead to malfunction of the separator.

8. In this mode, when the separator is properly adjusted, it is able to remove 30% – 60% of the original waste material, depending on the quality of the grain. When the machine operates in this mode, the сlean grain will go out from any trays.

 9. A significant improvement in the quality of separation can be achieved by installing a Pre-Cleaning Unit.

Calibration mode

1. Fill the hopper with the material.

2. Ensure continuous supply of the material to the hopper. During operation the user must control the amount of the material in the hopper – it must be filled at least for ¾ of its volume.

3. Turn the ‘Feed Gate Control’ handle to the position 0.5: 1.

4. Adjust the ‘SPEED OF ROTATION’ knob, so to receive the same proportions of clean grain in the trays from 2 nd to 4 th .

5. Properly adjusted machine will have: stones will fall into the first tray; the heaviest and largest grain (food grain or seed grain) – to the second tray; less heavy grain (food grain or seed grain) – to the third tray; broken grains and halves – to the fourth and fifth trays, broken grains, half grains, grain damaged by insects, and all sorts of impurities (forage).

6. If necessary, by turning the handle of shutters, we block or completely open the trays that we need. Note that when changing the opening angle of the tray, the calibration quality can be significantly improved.

7. Restriction or partial overlapping of the CSC output tray is not allowed, as this may lead to malfunction of the separator.

8. If the machine is equipped with Cyclone Sedimentary Chamber (CSC), make sure that all connections are sealed with the main separator. (Adjust the locking door in the CSC by changing the weight of the counterweights so that it is closed at operating airflow for this material.)

9. A significant improvement in the quality of separation can be achieved by installing a Pre-Cleaning Unit.

Adjustment of turning shutters

1. While grain calibration, the operator can easily make adjustments to the quality of the outgoing grain by moving the turning shutters, as well as by smoothly changing the power of the impeller. Please note that as the airflow increases, the bulk of the material moves to the fifth tray, thereby increasing the amount of the material getting to forage. If it is necessary to get calibrated grain of a higher class, it is necessary to make the calibration operation twice.

2.  Using of turning shutters allows picking out the grain having weight (size) at which it falls on the boundary of the separated fractions, and could fall into any of the adjacent trays. This technique allows the border grain to be sent for re- calibration.

3.  Any manipulations with turning shutters, for grain of different types, different humidity, different impurity, and classiness are individual, and are selected by the operator, depending on the task set.

 4. In the calibration mode, regardless of the operator's actions, light impurities from the initial material are also carried away when it passes the separation chamber, that is, cleaning together with calibration takes place.

Please note: The capacity of the machine can be increased (the amount of grain fed intothe separation chamber can be increased) until the process of cleaning / grading gets worse or until the release of grain along with used air begins. The extent of grading quality improvement varies for different crops, so the user determines it individually.

In the calibration mode, regardless of the operator sactions, light impurities from the initial material are also carried away when it passes the separation chamber, that is, cleaning together with calibration takes place.

Please note, that in case of heavy impurity of the material, it is necessary to make calibration several times, namely, first select the seed and large grains from the 2 nd – 3 rd tray. After this you can run the grain from
the 4 th – 6 th trays once more thus increasing the amount of good grains.
