Principle of operation

How ISM grain cleaning equipment is arranged

How does it work

The operation of the basic models of the grain sorting machine is based on a change in the trajectory of its free fall by the air flow, which is created by the block impeller. This allows grain to be separated and divided into fractions depending on weight, shape and size.

The raw material is fed into the hopper and distributed over the width of the tray under its own weight. In this form, the material enters the chamber of the air grain separator, where it splits, divides by mass, size and shape with a uniform flow of air.

The advantages of this design are:

Significant energy savings.

Any bulky mixtures can be effectively divided into fractions.

There are no lattices and a vibration tray - the grains are not injured during the separation process.

The self-cleaning function of the grain cleaning machine allows you to not lose time when switching from one crop to another.

Simple and cheap maintenance due to the absence of replaceable, or requiring constant additional maintenance of elements (for example, lubrication units).

Many convenient modes of operation with simple and understandable control of them.

Assembly quality, simplicity and reliability of grain cleaning machines.

  • 13. Dust and light impuritics

A cyclone trap

with the inertial principle of air purification allows you to get rid of various small impurities additionally.

A labyrinth duct

with sharp cross-sectional differences settles dust by more than 80%.

The cyclone chamber

of the grain separator purifies the exhaust air better by 80% due to the changing flow section of the air duct. In the first chamber, the dust additionally settles by 12-15%, and in the remaining two, the air is cleaned almost completely.

Advantages of our cyclone-sedimentary chambers:

Can be installed indoors without additional air purification systems.

Better separation due to reduced closed-loop airflow turbulence.

Due to the use of a closed air cycle in ISM aerodynamic separators, the cyclone-sedimentary complex does not require an additional electric motor.

Up to 30% more energy savings compared to basic models of open type grain cleaners (without CSC).

Additional grain drying due to aerodynamic heating of air circulating inside the cleaning machine with CSC.

Noise levels are further reduced (from 87 dB to 57 dB).
